January is almost over!

So it is January 30th here in Minnesota and not one day did it get above freezing. I guess there is one more day left in order for that to happen. I have been trying to use my potty a bit more. I am really good about it for the most part, but there is just one thing I WILL NOT do in the potty. I guess someday it will happen and my mom said that I get to have a "potty party" once I use the potty consistently. I get to have cake, ice cream, and some neighborhood friends over. Yeah! I love ice cream (just like my mom)!

So my mom and dad FINALLY worked on Miles' room last night. The baseball valance is what Gramma Ginny made. I have to say it looks awesome in his room. Gramma Ginny did a really nice job. We have a lot of "custom" curtains/valances in our home, we're pretty lucky! The shadow baseball player on the wall and music player is from Grandma and Pappa Simonsen. There are a few more things that Mom wanted to hang on the one wall yet over by his crib...I guess some baby outfits that he had when he was a newborn, all baseball related (go figure). Well, I guess my lunch is almost ready so I better go eat.

So Daddy came home last night from shopping and came home with a new car seat for me! It's pink and I love it. Miles was getting a bit big for his infant car seat so Daddy bought me a new one and Miles now has my old brown one. (Let the hand-me downs begin). :) I wanted to snap a photo and I invited Miles to sit next to me. He's getting so big! I think he might start crawling soon.
